Gina
Patient Coordinator
I was raised in Sacramento, CA, but have been living in Colorado Springs, CO with my son Landon, who just turned three and our dogs, Cody and Goliath, for the last three years. I enjoy many outdoor activities, such as camping, fishing and hunting. I attended college and pursued a degree in criminal justice. However, my education and career were postponed after the birth of my son.
I love working in a healthcare environment. My years of chiropractic and medical clinic experience aid me in assisting Dr. Enea's patients with scheduling and answering questions about their dental care. I began my career in dentistry with Dr. Enea in October 2006 after being a patient at his office since 2002. I thoroughly enjoy working with Dr. Enea and his wonderful staff who truly know what it takes to be a team.
My goal is to make your visit as pleasant as possible and I feel our patients are our priority. So come on in and let us put a smile on your face!
Sheri
Dental Hygienist
Hi…I'm Sheri, one of Dr. Enea's hygienists. I have been working with Dr. Enea since April of 2005 and have enjoyed working with such a great group of professionals.
I attended dental hygiene school in Syracuse, NY and have been in the dental field for almost 16 years. I graduated with high honors and was a recipient of the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award. I have worked in several dental specialties, including pediatrics, orthodontics and periodontics. I truly enjoy dental hygiene and the ability to work one on one with my clients. I value the friendships and relationships I've established over the years and pride myself on being very gentle, thorough and compassionate.
I think Dr. Enea is wonderful because he has a great sense of humor and loves a good joke, but most importantly, he REALLY cares about his patients as individuals, and understands that they have individual needs, concerns and desires.
I grew up in upstate New York, the oldest of two children. I met my wonderful husband of 11 years while he was stationed at Griffis AFB in Rome, NY. We moved to Colorado Springs in January 1999 and absolutely love our new home here.
We have one child. Our daughter, Maria, is now 7 years old and is a first grader at CSCS. Our little angel loves life and most of all loves to dance. She is currently taking ballet and jazz and has participated in three dance recitals at the Pikes Peak Center.
Outside of the office I enjoy helping out at my daughter's school, shopping, hiking, but most of all I enjoy and cherish spending time with my family and friends.
I'd like to invite you to become a part of our practice and meet the rest of our team! Your dental care is of the utmost of importance. I can sincerely tell you that we are a very special dental team.
Angel
Business Office Manager
Insurance/Treatment Plan Coordinator
I have been with Dr. Enea for 2 years and still love it! Since I have been in the dental field for 10 years, I help fill-in wherever needed because I have worked in most aspects of the dental office. Sometimes you'll find me working chair side with Dr. Enea, but most times you'll find me up front chasing insurance claims, answering billing questions or making appointments. Whew, I'm a busy girl!
Things don't slow down when I get home either. My wonderful husband Ed and my two Saint Bernard dogs, Texas and Starr keep me hopping. My great escape is to visit local attractions or take a trip to Cripple Creek and hope for a JACKPOT.
I attended The Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, NM for two years, where I pursued a degree in Engineering. I have had many different careers, including architectural design, sales and being a travel agent, but I admit that dentistry has been my most challenging career yet.
Born in Mesa, AZ, I was raised in New Mexico. Although I traveled a lot as a youngster, I enjoy living in Colorado Springs most. I love the weather here and the fact that we are fortunate enough to enjoy all four seasons…and the view's not bad either!
As the business office manager, insurance and treatment plan coordinator, I encourage our patients to ask questions-before, during or after their visits with us. I want you to be comfortable with the treatment options we have recommended, and to know everything you need to know so that you may proceed with enthusiasm and confidence.
You can be sure you'll always be treated with a smile and the highest level of courtesy in our office. That includes prompt and efficient handling of all administrative maters related to your care. We value open lines of communication with our patients at all times. At your first appointment, we will assess your dental health and develop a personalized treatment plan for you. Any insurance or billing-related matters will be covered before treatment begins.
We are always happy to accept new patients and whether you are new to our practice, or a long-time patient, we will always strive to provide you with quality dental care in a friendly, safe and caring "dental family" environment.
Anyone of our team members, including me, would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. I am excited to get to know you better and look forward to you joining our dental family.
Gina
Dental Hygienist
Greetings, my name is Gina and I am Dr. Enea’s newest addition to his Dental Hygiene team. I knew I wanted to work here from the first time I met everyone in the office. They are all super people with big hearts!
I am from Alberta, Canada eh? I moved to Hawaii for 3 years to “thaw out”. This is where I started working on my classes for Dental Hygiene prerequisites. I moved to North Carolina where my son was born. After living there for 6 months we made the move out west to Colorado. I attended the Dental Hygiene program at Pueblo Community College and graduated with Honors.
I have been working as a Dental Hygienist for over 12 year’s full time, and I still enjoy it!!! I also belong to the National Dental Hygiene Honors Society. I have worked in general dentistry throughout my career. I love the variety of seeing 3 year olds to seniors. I have always felt I was destined to be a dental hygienist because I enjoy my career so much. I have lived by my motto, “treat people the way I want to be treated and clean people’s teeth the way I want my teeth cleaned, thoroughly but gently.” I pride myself on doing a good job for my patients.
My son is now 15 years old going on 21. As a family we enjoy fishing and camping together. We also ride dirt bikes. We all enjoy cooking and eating. My husband is by far the best in our household. I love to travel and enjoy tropical trips that involve the ocean. I also enjoy hiking, walking, music and dancing.
I hope to meet you soon in our wonderful dental practice.
Kristi
Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
My name’s Kristi and I’m Dr. Enea’s full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA). I began working with him in March of 2007 and am delighted to be associated with such a successful practice. Dr. Enea and his phenomenal staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met and I know you will think so too when you come to visit his office.
I attended dental assisting school at Pueblo Community College and I have worked in the dental field for 3 years. I am proficient in all aspects of dental assisting including radiography, diagnostic impressions, endodontics, amalgam and composite restorations, crown preparations, cosmetic procedures and much more.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my wonderful fiancé Brandon and our five children. Yes, I said five! They keep us very busy with all their sporting activities. When we’re not at the field, we love going riding on our Harley or boating at the reservoir.
I have been enthusiastically helping patients adjust to the dental environment for many years and I hope that my pleasant personality makes your dental visit a comfortable experience. I’d like the opportunity to show you that dentistry can be a pleasant and fun experience in the right office.
Shannon
Dental Assistant
I’m Shannon, and I’m the newest addition to Dr. Enea’s staff. I am a dental assistant with expanded duties and have been for over 4 years now.
I just recently moved to Colorado from Boise, Idaho with my husband. We loved Boise, but are really enjoying Colorado Springs. We like to go camping and mountain biking. I also love to play pool, 8-ball and 9-ball.
I love the dental field. I enjoy being able to work on patients and help make them more comfortable. I’ve assisted with a wide variety of procedures from crowns and bridges, implants and oral surgery to dentures, fillings and root canals. I enjoy doing it all.
I can’t wait to meet everyone as they come into our office.
